Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Full-Time | Location: Amherst
We are a 100% employee-owned manufacturers’ representative serving the hydronic heating and cooling markets across Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. Our team supports customers with pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, controls, and related products for water and steam applications.
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, support customer needs, and create a positive, energetic, and safe work environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who sets clear expectations, confirms team commitment, follows through implementation, and promotes accountability, teamwork, and pride in performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse personnel by setting expectations, gaining commitment, and following through on daily execution
- Promote a positive, energetic, safe, and accountable team environment
- Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, returns, damage reporting, and warehouse records
- Coordinate schedules, training, freight, delivery providers, warehouse supplies, and cost-effective shipping solutions
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas, equipment, facilities, and grounds
- Support pump alignment, assembly, product handling, and related warehouse activities
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, OSHA compliance, and customer service expectations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior warehouse leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead with confidence, set direction, earn commitment, and ensure follow-through
- Prior employer recommendations required
- Valid driver’s license with driver record review required
- Forklift, mechanical aptitude and power tool experience required
- Clear, professional communication skills with customers, team members, supervisors, and vendors
- Strong organization and time-management skills in a busy warehouse environment
- Working knowledge of order processing systems, inventory practices, basic math, and common warehouse equipment
Physical Requirements
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
